Hi, I'm Lucy and welcome to my portfolio! I work in a range of styles and areas within graphic design and love exploring with new concepts and ideas. All of my designs are created to be unique with a focus on visual storytelling to get your values and story across. I am Newcastle based and would love to work with you to create something new.
TYPOGRAPHY EXHIBITION
The Typography Exhibition project looks at design in a more playful and engaging way. In this project I wanted to explore typography and play with ways to advertise something to make it more interactive. As you can see in the poster there is a puzzle where viewers must figure out how to spell the word typography through colour coordination. The puzzle draws people in without taking away from the details and purpose of the poster, which is to communicate the details for an upcoming exhibition. The logo and remaining aspects for this project use the same colours, fonts and lines to create cohesion.
Pink Moon
Pink Moon was a mock branding project where I wanted to play with minimalism and simplicity. This brand showcases an example of what I can create with typography based logos and shows the power of sticking to the basics to create a strong brand image.
BMTP MAGAZINE
BTMP was a mock project looking at a photography magazine. This design specifically looks at film photos and the the way I designed this showcases the overall tone of voice.
